Sources and References

Every regulation claim on this site is sourced to a primary Army document. Where possible we link the original PDF or army.mil page; where a primary source has moved or is hard to reach, we link the official landing page and state exactly what each source supports.

Army URLs move, and some official sites block automated access — which affects how completely we can machine-verify each link. The “verification status” column below states the truth for each source rather than a uniform date. If you find a broken link or a discrepancy, please tell us via the Report an Error page.

How to read the verification statuses

  • Fetched and read — we retrieved and reviewed the document itself.
  • Partial — key statements confirmed, but the full document was not machine-retrievable (most often because official sites block automated access, not because the page is down). These links work in a normal browser.
  • Pending — the document gates claims we have deliberately not asserted. Pages carrying directive-dependent numbers say so at the point of use.

Secondary sources

No secondary or news source currently supports a regulation claim on this site. Competitor pages were reviewed only to identify user questions and coverage gaps — never as the source for a regulation claim.

Re-check cadence

  • army.mil and armyresilience URLs: every 90 days, and immediately if a user reports a discrepancy.
  • Third-party mirrors (e.g., the ALARACT PDF mirror): every 12 months, and only as pointers to the authority — never as the authority itself.
  • Any pending document is upgraded to “fetched and read” as soon as it is verified, and the dependent pages are updated the same day.
