ARCHIVE — RESCINDED ON JULY 7, 2026. Army Directive 2026-13 replaced this screening method with the Waist-to-Height Ratio (WHtR). Use the current WHtR calculator for the active standard.

Army Height & Weight Screening Calculator (Archive)

Until July 7, 2026, the Army used weight-for-height screening tables from AR 600-9 to flag soldiers who needed a follow-on tape test. A soldier whose weight exceeded the table’s maximum for their height, age, and gender was referred to a circumference-based body-fat measurement.

This tool is preserved for reference only: recruits’ paperwork, older records, and historical appeals may still reference these tables. It is not the current standard, and it cannot be used to meet the current one.

Archived screening calculator

Archived male table covers heights 60–80 inches; female table covers 58–80 inches.

Informational estimate based on your inputs. Not an official ABCP determination. Refer to your unit ABCP counselor or recruiter for personal decisions. Your inputs never leave your browser.

Reminder: this screening table was rescinded on July 7, 2026. Informational only — not an official ABCP determination.
